Choose Vegan

I chose to adopt a vegan diet on March 21, 2011 after watching a video on chooseveg.com. I've been researching ever since, and I'm happy with the decision I've made. I've just finished reading "Skinny Bitch" by Kim Barnouin and Rory Freedman, and I think everyone should check it out. It has great info about making the transition to vegan. I just purchased Barnouin's "Skinny Bitch Ultimate Cookbook," and that's the main reason I made this blog. I'm going to share my journey through her cookbook as well as vegan info I find along the way. Enjoy:)

So I’m always posting about what kind of puppy I want Andy and I to get (either on here or my personal tumblr)… well, I’ve decided I want a French bulldog! It’s looks like a combo of all the breeds we’ve thought about one day getting—pug & boston terrier. I think he’s the cutest, and he’s the perfect size for an apartment! The only downside is we probably would only be able to find a puppy/young frenchie at a breeder… We want to adopt/rescue our pets. Also, out of curiosity, I’ve checked breeders and their prices, and I think it is INSANE to spend $2000 to adopt a puppy! Especially when there are so many in shelters that need homes. I’ve been searching around for french bulldog rescues and local shelters so we’ll have a better idea of where to look when we’re ready. Feel free to send any links/suggestions this way;)
